This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
Exporting validation messages
The new Include validation messages option is available when exporting to Excel. It can be applied when exporting at the table and dataset levels. The add-on uses the following colors to highlight message severity for fields and rows: red for errors, orange for warnings, and blue for information. If a message applies to a table, the add-on creates a new sheet in the exported file and appends -MSG to the name. For any existing templates, this option will default to None.
SQL import for datasets
The Import SQL service is now available at the dataset level. It allows you to import from multiple SQL source tables into selected target tables in EBX®.
Import mode
A new import mode is available and an existing UI label was updated:
  • This release introduces the Only delete listed records import mode. This mode is available for all import services and deletes records in the target table only if they exist in the import source. When this mode is selected, an additional Delete exact matches option displays. Selecting this checkbox ensures that records are only deleted when the data in the import source and target match exactly. If the data does not match, the system displays a warning and the record is not deleted.
    The addition of this import mode enhances the add-on's bulk deletion capabilities. Previously, the import mode that facilitated bulk deletion required you to supply the list of records that you wanted to keep. You now have the option of passing a list of records that you want to delete.
  • The existing Delete only import mode has been renamed to Only delete unlisted records. The behavior for this import mode has not changed. It deletes any records from the target table that do not exist in the import source.

Changes in Functionality

This release contains no changes in functionality.

Changes to third-party libraries

The following third-party libraries were updated:
  • The Apache Commons Lang library was updated to version 3.20.0.
  • The Apache POI library was updated to version 5.4.0.
  • Jakarta Servlet was updated to version 6.0.

Closed Issues

This release contains the following closed issues:
  • A display issue causes text to overlap it intended boundary.
  • The mapping UI is unresponsive after adding a transform function (Chrome v137, CEP).
  • If a record violates a primary key restraint (contains only whitespaces) the import simulation results should not include this error as a non-blocking error.
  • SQL export takes too long when exporting higher volumes of records.
  • A NullPointerException occurs on the Import SQL simulation when the Download invalid records option disabled.
  • When exporting Excel at the table level, the background task shows an error even after data was successfully exported.
  • An error occurs when exporting Excel at the table level and an older template is loaded that includes a direct split transformation.
  • Selected data is not exported when exporting to Excel.
  • Data export that references a source table that has a group of fields is not working.
